Photovoltaic Check

Check the electric compatibility of solar panels against common microinverters.

This tool is mainly intended for those who want to put a couple of solar panels on their balcony (or similar), but who don't want to hire someone else to plan or do it for them. While there are many things to consider (panel mounting, laws, etc.), one source of confusion is whether one of the common microinverters will work together with some particular solar panels.

You should be able to find the required values in the solar panel's data sheet or on a shop's website. The manufacturer's data sheet is preferable, and will likely also contain the values listed under advanced optionsadvanced options (if not available, the default values are good enough approximations in most cases).

Important You must enter the data as measured under Standard Test Conditions (STC), otherwise the compatibility check will not be correct.
